@mraaliyah100 if you are going out then apply a moisturizer with SPF 30 since lemon makes your face sensitive to the sun. if you are staying home, away from windows or going to bed, then any moisturizer will do.

@Aaronh9111 I just know about the brightening effect it has on the skin. Essence magazine reccomended it in an article that I read yrs ago… Try apricot scrub for exfoliation, that wrks really well…

@abdsltd I have used this method for years. In my opinion the woman in the video shoud have said brighten not ” lighten” the lemon can aid in making the skin tone more even but, it will not make a dark complexion really light. Good for blemishes though. Good luck & give it a try…

1) Can you use this for the dark rings under the eyes (being careful not to get any lemon juice in the eyes)?
2) Could this be used by African people who want to get a lighter skin tone (ie: similar to what Rhianna has done)?

I grew up watching my aunt putting lemon in all her body for years and she was a dark skin and she always have a beautiful skin. I used to do it myself too. Yes, it works.
