okay well i got a lip ring 5 days ago and it seems to be fine altho what i thought was a scab on the outside seemed to be dried(puss?) idk it is a white discharge i am currently using dead sea salt in warm water and natural rinse thats what the store gave me(i bought on my own oral b mouth wash without alcohol to also clean it) i rinse for 30 seconds with the salt mouth wash and salt(not all at once) every time i eat it hurt alot before and does not as much since i tried and did remove some of the discharge however it does hurt a little bit still i think there is a little in there still, as for the inside of my mouth it looks like my skin is accepting the ring because a white layer of skin is now over it.

Please id love advice on what else could help or how i am doing right/wrong and what i can do to improve.

I don’t think your lip ring is supposed to have a layer of skin over it.
