Just a few thoughts. I kept thinking about the analogy of the Dead Sea in comparison to the analogy Jesus gave for the Holy Spirit; rivers of living flowing water can flow through us. In stark contrast, the Dead Sea is brackish water that is too salty to sustain much life due to lack of any flow and dehydration. “On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”[By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.” John 7:37-39 Flowing water must have a place to flow through like Tuberoot’s lake analogy. And God intended the Holy Spirit to flow through us in order to operate in fullness in our lives. Our minds are bombarded with information constantly. Only so much is useful and some of that is just for a limited time. This revelation is not available nor discernible to the unbeliever. That's why there is such a gap between Christians and other religions as well as atheists.
